Dr. Sadia Bhatti is a Consultant Obstetrician at The Women's Wellness Centre, Portland Hospital, Kensington Wing, and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, with extensive experience in high-risk pregnancies, older women, and IVF-related cases. She also serves as the lead clinician for Maternity Critical Care and the maternal age clinic at King's College Hospital, which specializes in complex pregnancies among older women.
In her current role, Dr. Bhatti holds both clinical and senior management responsibilities, serving as the Lead Consultant for the Labour Ward and Postnatal Care. She also conducts specialized maternal medicine joint clinics in Obstetric Rheumatology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Neurology.
Dr. Bhatti is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and leads the Women's Health rotation for King's College London medical students. Additionally, she serves as the course director for the RCOG Second Stage Management Operative Birth Training Course and holds an academic leadership role at the British Intrapartum Care Society (BICCS).
Passionate about ensuring safe childbirth, especially for women facing high-risk pregnancies, Dr. Bhatti is committed to improving the experience of women during and after birth with the goal of reducing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. She is also involved in delivering life-saving skills courses for mothers and babies in under-resourced African and Asian countries as a faculty member of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Dr. Bhatti empowers women, both high and low risk, by providing choices for their birthing process and offers opportunities for couples to meet and greet to make informed decisions about their birth attendant.
With experience working with women from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, Dr. Bhatti believes in providing continuity of care. She is accessible 24/7 via email and text messages and strongly advocates for women's physical fitness during and after childbirth.
